Phased Increase of Operations
Iowa State University President Wendy Wintersteen announced a phased approach to increase operations this summer in preparation for fall.
For phase one, administrative officers will identify supervisors (or designees) to develop plans for their workspaces. Select supervisors (or designees) and a limited number of their staff who are currently working remotely will be asked to return to their normal locations, on or after June 1, to develop and oversee the implementation of these plans. President Wintersteen and senior leaders met virtually with administrative officers to discuss the planning phase.

A Supervisor Toolkit, containing the following materials, has been provided to administrative officers to guide the plan development process:

Online training through Learn@ISU is available with information and procedures to prioritize health and safety for those returning to their normal work locations.
During this planning phase, other faculty and staff who have been working remotely should continue to do so. You are still allowed to go to your normal work locations while practicing social/physical distancing and appropriate hygiene and cleaning practices to perform necessary job functions that you cannot do at home.
